Blending
Take your hooch inside and set the Jars out on the table in order of collection. Open them up and carefully take a light sniff of each including the Heads jar. Even the worst sinuses will be able to notice differences between jars. Now take a tablespoon of each and mix it with a TBS of clean water and taste them. Leave the Heads jar out of this test.
Basically you want to blend together what you like and set aside for re-distill what you don’t. The jars that you blended you will need to dilute to drinking strength. I prefer something between 45% and 52%. Use your Spirit Hydrometer for this. There are some very handy Dilution calculators on homedistiller.org.
